From March 10th to 16th, 2025, it is International Glaucoma Week. Each year, during this week, we highlight glaucoma, a chronic eye condition that can cause permanent damage to vision and even lead to blindness. In its early stages, you often don’t notice any symptoms, but glaucoma can still lead to dangerous situations, such as when driving.

On Tuesday, March 11th, we will organize an informative meeting about glaucoma at the Eye Hospital Rotterdam. We will discuss tests, the impact of glaucoma on daily life, and how patients can maintain their vision as well as possible. Topics such as treatment adherence, eye drop instructions, and the experiences of people with glaucoma will be covered.

On Wednesday, March 12th, we will provide an eye drop instruction session, where you will learn the best way to administer eye drops.
