The Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology is one with the global community in celebrating the World Glaucoma Week on March 9-15, 2025.

In commemoration of World Glaucoma Week, we illuminated the iconic Heritage Building of the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center in green during the duration of this campaign. This visual display aims to raise awareness about glaucoma and show solidarity with the global community in the fight against blindness caused by this disease.
 The department also placed an exhibit at the lobby of the Multispecialty building to help promote, educate and spread awareness on the importance of early diagnosis and management of Glaucoma.
