Department of Ophthalmology AIIMS Deoghar conducted the following activities in observation of World Glaucoma Week 2025:
1. Screening camp for Indigenous population at Munda Mundi Village, Devipur, Deoghar on 12.03.2025 (World Glaucoma Day).
2. Awareness & Patient interaction in OPD on 13.03.2025 with following itinerary:
a. Welcome by Dr. Abhishek Onkar, Faculty In-charge, Dept. of Ophthalmology.
b. Inaugration and Awareness session by Prof.(Dr.) Saurabh Varshney, ED & CEO AIIMS Deoghar.
c. Glaucoma Kit distribution to patients by Prof.(Dr.) Saurabh Varshney, ED & CEO AIIMS Deoghar, Prof. S.R. Patra, MS, AIIMS Deoghar & Prof. Harminder Singh, Dean, AIIMS Deoghar.
d. Prize distribution to Glaucoma Quiz winners of MBBS Batch 2021.
3. Blindness Screening camp conducted by Department of Ophthalmology, AIIMS Deoghar at Saraiyahaat Village, Dumka on 15.03.2025.
