Targeted Free Glaucoma Screening

Narayana Nethralaya pledged to screen 3,000 people through its free glaucoma screening program, targeting rural population visiting as attendants of ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) patients. This initiative launched during the during Glaucoma Awareness Week, aims to identify at-risk individuals and promote early detection to prevent vision loss. In addition to screenings, awareness about glaucoma, its effects and the importance of early detection was conveyed through printed materials and counselling sessions.
