The “Eye for Sight” project aims to prevent degenerative diseases such as glaucoma, maculopathy, diabetic retinopathy through awareness and information activities. The ultimate goal is to empower the healthy population to perform early screening and maintain the best possible level of vision quality to preserve autonomy and quality of life even in the presence of chronic diseases.

Needs
– Limited attention of the adult-age population to the occurrence of vision defects
– low awareness of eye diseases in the population of any age-delayed access to treatment

Project goals.
– Develop increased awareness in the healthy population for prevention of eye diseases
– to foster the acquisition of skills in recognizing early signs of certain eye diseases by the healthy population
– to inform about the prevention and treatment services of ASUGI (Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Giuliano Isontina) in the field of ophthalmology
