Illuminating the Monument of the Virgin of Quito for WGW.

In commemoration of World Glaucoma Week, the iconic Virgin of Quito monument at Panecillo Hill will be illuminated in green. This visual display aims to raise awareness about glaucoma.
This monument, the tallest aluminum statue in the world, symbolizes Quito’s cultural heritage and religious importance. It is lit up in green to show solidarity with the global community in the fight against blindness caused by this disease.
Together, let us light up the way to a glaucoma-free world.
