Give.Asia believes Glaucoma affects not only the adult population, but we are seeing more and more cases of babies and children being born with the disease, especially in less developed countries where early detection and subsequent treatments are hard to come by or non-existent.

We support Glaucoma Week because we are dedicated to giving these little children the gift of sight through timely access to the proper diagnosis and treatments. When more people are made aware of this debilitating but preventable eye disease, more children can be helped to regain their sight, and this is a huge boost to their quality of life, self-confidence and ability to learn.
