the event took place at a private club (Madinaty Club in Cairo) . it started on 10:00 am on 11th of march by a marathon for different age groups. followed by a lecture given by Prof. Dr. Moustafa Nassar (professor of ophthalmology Menofyia university, secretary general of the Egyptian Society for the Glaucomas and president of the Egyptian Society or Investigative Ophthalmomogy) to the non-medical club members on the awareness of glaucoma, the danger of glaucoma and the importance of follow-up and early diagnosis of glaucoma. the lecture was followed by screening the club members for IOP and fundus examination.
