Inorder to create awareness among the public Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli jointly with DBCS & Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital organised Glaucoma awareness walk from VOC ground Palayamkottai till Tirunelveli Medical college Hospital, Highground, Tirunelveli. The Event was flagged off by Ms. Shilpa Prabhakar Satish IAS, District collector – Tirunelveli in the Presence of Dr. Ramakrishnan .R – Advisor, Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli, Dr. M. Ravichandran – Dean, Tirunelveli Medical college Hospital, Dr. Meenakshi .R – CMO, Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli, Dr. Mohideen Abdul Kader – Chief Glaucoma Services, Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli and Dr. Ramalakshmi .V, HOD – Department of ophthalmology, Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.Around 250 members including Doctor’s, Nurses and administrative staff participated in the event.
