Amrtisar Eye has been observing Glaucoma Week and other Eye related observances since the inception of the Clinic from 1987.

The street play was based on the importance of Glaucoma screening for the people who have family history of Glaucoma and individuals who are above 40 years of age.
The center takes pride in organizing Glaucoma Awareness Walkathon and screening camps in remote areas of h Uttarakhand which is a hill and forest state in India and people are poor and therefor cannot access quality eye care.
