Glaucoma awareness campaign in the Quito Metro, Ecuador.

During the World Glaucoma Week, a glaucoma awareness campaign is being activated in the Quito Metro with the collaboration of the local government Municipality of Quito. The campaign is reaching thousands of people who use this transportation system daily. Totems with the green ribbon, a symbol of this campaign, have been placed in the different metro stations, as well as display stands with information about the risk factors where people are encouraged to take selfies, scan the QR code for additional information, and share it. Additionally, inside the trains, the display screens show some messages alerting about this disease.
The importance of this campaign is to reach people massively and expand social media coverage.
