GHANA WGW 2023 PRESS LAUNCH
We invited the Press to the launch at the Ministry of Health Conference Room. The National President of GPAG / Vice President WGPA Mr Harrison Kofi Abutiate and Executives of GPAG and Ophthalmological Society of Ghana (OSG) Glaucoma group and President of OSG,Dr Dzifa Bella Ofori Adjei, were in attendance to give the welcome address and make a presentation on Glaucoma respectively. The Ghana Sub theme was” Do you know your Eye pressure?” Representing the Minister of Health Hon Kwaku Agyeman Manu was Dr Hafez Adam Taher, Director, External Health Co-operation of Ministry of Health. Dr Mrs Joycelyn Azeez, Director of Pharmaceutical Services, MOH and Representatives of Ophthalmic Nurses Group Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Eye Centre, Accra Ghana. The event was partly sponsored by Atlantic Life Sciences Ltd , a local pharmaceutical manufacturing company which has started local manufacturing of ophthalmic products. Key National TV, and Radio stations as well as Print Media. The following day all TV and Radio stations as well as Print Media covered the press launch prominently as top stories.
