As part of World Glaucoma Week 2025 (March 9-15), Bothra Foundation is proud to host a Free Eye Check-up Camp to support this year’s theme, “Uniting for a Glaucoma-Free World”. Glaucoma, often called the “silent thief of sight,” can lead to irreversible vision loss if not detected early. Our mission is to raise awareness and promote regular eye exams to prevent blindness in underserved communities.

What to Expect:
Free eye screenings for all attendees.
Referral of suspected glaucoma cases to specialized centers like Vittala International Institute of Ophthalmology, Bengaluru.
Free treatment, including surgery and medicines, for underprivileged patients diagnosed with glaucoma.
Our Impact: From March 2024 to February 2025, Bothra Foundation screened 2,218 underprivileged patients at our weekly Friday eye camps, referring 117 suspected glaucoma cases for advanced care. This camp continues our year-round commitment to eye health and early detection.
