Allied Health Professionals (Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists) are an important group of health care providers who provide care to the elderly population in whom glaucoma is also prevalent. Creating awareness amongst the student population of allied health professionals will help them to add value to the service they would be providing to their patients in the future. There are about 30 Allied Health professional Colleges near our Glaucoma Clinic and we plan to have an awareness session once a month in their premises.
