We went to two radio stations on two consecutive days; Radio Nigeria and Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC) to enlighten the public about Glaucoma. The speakers for the first day were:
– Assoc Prof Chimdia Ognonnaya, Consultant Ophthalmologist/Glaucoma Specialist
– Dr Edak Ezeanosike, Consultant Ophthalmologist/Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon/Ocular Oncologist
– Dr Chinenyenwa Okanya, Consultant Ophthalmologist
The speakers for the second day were:
Dr Nkwegu Ogbonna & Dr Nwafor Amaka, both Senior Registrars in Ophthalmology Department and Dr Ifeyinwa Okeke; a Senior Registrar in Public/Community Health Department, all of Alex Ekwueme Federal Medical Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki.
Questions were entertained by the general public on both days.
