There was a glaucoma awareness bicycle ride on the 13th of March 2019 as part of marking the WGW2019 at the University College Hospital Ibadan by the Department of Ophthalmology. This event was flagged off by the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof Otegbayo.

The ride went round major parts of the city of Ibadan sharing leaflets on glaucoma invitation and also encouraging the populace to have their eyes checked by the eye specialist on regular bases.
