كلية الطب بجامعة المنصورة الجديدة تنظم حملة توعوية حول المياه الزرقاء تحت شعار “عينك أغلى.. لا تهمل فحصها”

في إطار الأسبوع العالمي للجلوكوما، تنظم كلية الطب بجامعة المنصورة الجديدة حملة توعوية وفحصًا مجانيًا للكشف المبكر عن المياه الزرقاء (الجلوكوما)، تحت شعار “عينك أغلى.. لا تهمل فحصها”، وذلك يوم 12 مارس 2025 في العيادات التخصصية بمبنى 9 ، بدءًا من الساعة 10 صباحًا.

تقام الحملة تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور معوض محمد الخولي ، رئيس الجامعة، وبريادة الأستاذة الدكتورة هالة المرصفاوي، عميدة كلية الطب، وإشراف الأستاذة الدكتورة سوزي فايز عويضة، مدير برنامج الطب والجراحة، والدكتور عماد الحناوي، منسق الأنشطة الطلابية.

يشارك في الحملة نخبة من أساتذة طب وجراحة العيون، من بينهم:الأستاذ الدكتور أمجد النقراشي، أستاذ مساعد طب وجراحة العيون بجامعة المنصورة ، الدكتورة آية حشيش، مدرس طب وجراحة العيون بجامعة المنصورة ، الدكتور محمد أحمد الشافعي، مدرس طب وجراحة العيون بجامعتي كفر الشيخ والمنصورة الجديدة ، الدكتورة غادة حسن علام، مدرس طب وجراحة العيون بجامعتي المنصورة والمنصورة الجديدة.

تهدف الحملة إلى التوعية بمرض الجلوكوما، الذي يُعرف بـ“المرض الصامت” ، حيث قد يؤدي إلى فقدان البصر دون أعراض واضحة. كما تركز الحملة على أهمية الاكتشاف المبكر ودوره في الحفاظ على البصر، بالإضافة إلى الإجابة على أبرز التساؤلات المتعلقة بالمرض، مثل:
• لماذا يجب أن تفحص عينيك؟
• ما الخدمات التي تقدمها الحملة؟

وتقدم الحملة عدة خدمات لجميع منتسبي الجامعة من طلاب وعاملين ، من بينها
قياس النظر ، فحص مجاني لقاع العين للكشف عن الجلوكوما ، قياس ضغط العين لتحديد عوامل الخطر ، استشارات طبية متخصصة مع نخبة من أطباء العيون.
توعية بطرق الوقاية وأهمية الفحص الدوري للحفاظ على صحة العين.

جامعة المنصورة الجديدة تدعو جميع منتسبيها من طلاب وعاملين للمشاركة في هذه الحملة والاستفادة من خدماتها المجانية حفاظًا على صحة عيونهم.

New Mansoura University’s Faculty of Medicine Organizes an Awareness Campaign on Glaucoma Under the Slogan: “Your Eyes Are Precious… Don’t Neglect Their Checkup”

As part of World Glaucoma Week, the Faculty of Medicine at New Mansoura University is organizing an awareness campaign and a free screening for early detection of glaucoma under the slogan “Your Eyes Are Precious… Don’t Neglect Their Checkup.” The campaign will take place on March 12, 2025, at the specialty clinics in Building 9, starting from 10:00 AM.

The campaign is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Moawad Mohamed El-Khouly, President of the University, and led by Prof. Dr. Hala El-Marsafawy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. It is supervised by Prof. Dr. Suzy Fayez Owaida, Director of the Medicine and Surgery Program, and Dr. Emad El-Hanawy, Student Activities Coordinator.

Participating Experts:

A distinguished group of ophthalmology professors will take part in the campaign, including:
• Prof. Dr. Amgad El-Nokarashy, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Mansoura University.
• Dr. Aya Hashish, Lecturer of Ophthalmology at Mansoura University.
• Dr. Mohamed Ahmed El-Shafei, Lecturer of Ophthalmology at Kafr El-Sheikh University and New Mansoura University.
• Dr. Ghada Hassan Allam, Lecturer of Ophthalmology at Mansoura University and New Mansoura University.

Objectives of the Campaign:

The campaign aims to raise awareness about glaucoma, known as the “silent disease,” as it can lead to vision loss without noticeable symptoms. It also highlights the importance of early detection in preserving eyesight and addresses key questions such as:
• Why should you have your eyes checked?
• What services does the campaign offer?

Campaign Services:
• Free fundus examination to detect glaucoma.
• Intraocular pressure measurement to assess risk factors.
• Specialized medical consultations with top ophthalmologists.
• Awareness sessions on prevention and the importance of regular checkups for eye health.

New Mansoura University invites all its students and staff to participate in this campaign and take advantage of its free services to protect their eye health.
