Amrita Hospital Faridabad successfully conducted a Glaucoma Awareness Walkathon with over 200 people at Omaxe World Street Faridabad, Haryana, India. The event was organised by doctors from the Department of Ophthalmology, students of Amrita College of Nursing and staff. True to this year’s theme of World Glaucoma Week – “Uniting for a Glaucoma Free World” Our walkathon of >200 people , brought young n old, glaucoma patients, their families and caregivers, doctors nursing students nurses, Optometrists all together with one aim – Increasing awareness of Glaucoma – the silent thief of sight.
