From March 10th to March 16th, 2024, initiatives that aim to raise public glaucoma awareness will be hosted at the University Hospital of Ioannina, under the guidance of Prof Andreas Katsanos. Throughout this week, an informative lecture will take place on March 11, along with screening events from March 12 to March 16, providing people with the opportunity to assess their risk for the condition. Additionally, an information stand will be placed near the general vicinity of the city’s Prefecture Building, providing valuable information on glaucoma and promoting the importance of eye care.
