The Jordanian Ophthalmological Society will organise a screening campaign to improve awareness of glaucoma and enhance early detection. This will be in collaboration with Allergan Pharmaceuticals. The campaign will target all individuals who are willing to participate. All volunteering ophthalmologists will participate in the campaign. This will involve testing of visual acuity, checking pressure, visual fields etc. The sponsoring company will assist in promoting the campaign by providing advertising materials, media coverage, and organising lectures to spread knowledge and updates on new techniques and products. Hospitals and medical centers will also paerticipate.
