Congenital awareness Program was conducted as part of World Glaucoma Week – 2018 for the Congenital glaucoma children and their family members on 16.03.2018 at Aravind Eye Hospital – Auditorium. Around 26 Congenital glaucoma children and their family members (80 members in total) attended the program. Puppet show was Organised emphasizing the need for regular follow up for children with Congenital glaucoma. Dr. Madhavi gave an informative talk on  “Treat early, Save Vision” followed by an awareness Talk by Dr. R. Ramakrishnan, Senior Glaucoma Consultant and Chief Medical officer, Aravind Eye Hospital – Tirunelveli. Dr.Meenakshi, Chief – Paediatric Services and Deputy CMO, Aravind Eye Hospital – Tirunelveli stressed on the  need for Post – Op follow up and Vision therapy for better vision There was an open discussion and feedback session.
